Cleaning tips
Wednesday, September 12th, 2012In this time of economic instability we would like to give you some tips on how to make your cleaner work more effectively and, as such, how to get more value for your money.
Everybody knows how hard is to do your job when you don’t have the necessary equipment. To make sure that your cleaner uses all her/his energy on cleaning please make sure that you have all the recommended cleaning products. Also, there is nothing more important than having a working and powerful hoover. If the machine’s suction is good it can save us up to 20 minutes (based on a two bedroom flat). That time can be used on cleaning the oven, fridge, changing bed linens, etc.
We highly recommend that you provide at least four sponges and plenty of cloths – microfibres are best. Also years of practice has shown us that if the client provides old towels to dry surfaces it saves about four minutes on cleaning the shower screen and taps and it also saves you money on paper towels and the environment.
Another great time saver, which can be used to wash one or two radiators in your home, is when you load and turn on the dishwasher just before you go to work. Your cleaner will happily unload it but that would save her about five minutes which could be used on the bathroom radiators which are always dusty from towel fluff.
We are sure you wish to have the fridge cleaned at least once a month if not more often. To help us, don’t do a big shopping before the cleaner comes. Imagine how time consuming it is for him/her to take all the food out of the fridge in order to clean it. Wouldn’t be easier if you do your shopping after the cleaner cleans your fridge? That would save you about five minutes which we can use to unload the dishwasher or dust photos.
That’s only a few tips but there are plenty more which we will be also posting on our Facebook and Twitter pages. Stay tuned and call us today to book a cleaner!
